1965: Began giving private guitar lesson at age 15 while employed by Harry Whitney Theatrical Arts, Melvindale, Michigan after studying guitar for 4 years since age 11.

1966: Requested by Allen Park High School counselors Haboian and Sarkisian to teach adult education guitar class in place of an adult teacher who could not fill the position.

1st nightclub/lounge gig at 16 years old-Vans Lounge-Dearborn, Michigan.

1967: Appeared as Conrad Birdie in the high school musical Bye Bye Birdie; Came in 2nd place in the Senior Talent Show, Alen Park High School class of '67; performed back-up to the vocalist who came in 1st place in the Senior Talent Show; 1967.

Upon high school graduation, immediately entered Detroit Institute of Music studying theory, composition, harmony, solfege and dictation; entered Henry Ford College part time studying academics; Continued appearances 6 nights a week as professional musician.

Over the previous 4 years, while in high school, taught guitar and bass at Weaver Music Company (known today as Marshall Music in Allen Park, Michigan. See http://www.marshallmusic.com;
Performed with local Allen Park, Michigan bands: Nobleman IV, Village Beaus, Kleiggs, Virgin Dawn and The Danny Tyrell Jazz Trio. Played at high school dances, youth night clubs, weddings and corporate events.
